If your work is chosen we will let you know a few days after the deadline for that months subs. With the fantastic amount of subs received it can be impossible to get everyone into edition one!
We can’t guarantee your work will be used (we’ve set ourselves superhero high standards) but we will always try to give you food for thought if it isn’t.

If you would like to show us your work, and we hope you will, then take a look at the brief below and get busy!
Due to the HUGE number of amazing subs received for issue 9 and 10 we have decided that there will be NO theme for regular issues from now on (we'll leave those for the special issues like our recent covers issue). So, if you want to get your work, and an interview with you, in number 11 then get your stuff into us by the deadline below:
Midnight on Sunday the 28th February 2010
Each chosen artist will get to show their submission piece for the issue’s theme. In addition to that we show a further 2 – 4 of your favourite pieces to show off a bit more of you and your style. Send as many pieces of work as you like and we will pick our favourites.
What we need from you:
· FIVE pieces of your work - ONE of which needs to be 740 x 740 pixels (either JPGs or PNGs - no PDFs please)
· All images must be 72dpi or higher
· It’s for screen output so there are no colour restrictions
If you get picked we will send you a bunch of questions chosen by both the NewSugar crew and some of your fellow artists. You will then need to send us your answers (sadly not on a postcard!) to make up part of your feature.
Finally if you have any events, websites, blogs or happenings you want us to mention send us details on those too.
If all this seems like a lot to do... just remember the more we get from you, the more we have to give you the best exposure possible.
